Flash Dance goes Sundance

Boot_covers1 If someone had told me that I would be knitting anything close to a Legwarmers again, I would have told them to "Go Crimp Your Hair!" But, fashion goes in 20 year cycles so here we are again. I made these, actually, as boot covers to go over my brown suede boots.  But Regina is modeling them with brown clogs, and they look pretty cool. Jen said they looked very "Sundance". I used colorful variegated wool, worsted weight, and doubled it on #13 circulars. I cast on 34 stitches and worked it in K1P1 Rib. I used three different skeins. The length measures 12 inches. Now,I think I'll go listen to some Cyndy Lauper cassettes and pop in my old Jane Fonda work out video.

i like your commentaries.....short...interesting....they
read very, very well....

Isn't it kind of scary that leg warmers are all the rage again (at least on knitting blogs). Last night I cast on a pair to, for the Cover Your Legs KAL. I draw the line at wearing only one glove though.
