The Theory of Relative Creativity
Today would have been Albert Einstein's 127th birthday. If he were alive today -- well, he'd look really, really bad. Ha.
As a tribute to one of world's greatest minds, I found a picture on the website of The Museum of the Scientifically Accurate Fabric Brain Art of a knitted brain. Geez, what won't we knit?? What won't we create a museum about?
Einstein said a lot of things that were pretty darn smart, but these are my two favorites:
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
(which is basically how I got through college)
and
The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.
I guess that means that if you decide to knit yourself up a cerebral cortex, feel free to tell everyone it was your own idea. They'll think it was because you lost your mind.
Happy Birthday, Albert!

I love it! Thanks for the great photo!

That is one odd thing to knit. It looks like it took a lot of time. I can't even imagine what the person was thinking while knitting it.

Happy Birthday, Albert!
That is amazing. I thought the womb was unusual, guess not! Imagination is a wonderful fearsome thing.

Jodi, very funny and creative, especially the lost your mind part. Isn't it funny how the cerebral cortex looks like cross between Botecelli's "Birth of Venus, and the uterus of a jellyfish.

someone should have knitted Einstein a hat. very bad hair. i imagined the knitted object in your picture was the woman's reproductive system so knowing it was a brain saved me.
