This Vest Gets an A

While I anxiously attempt tp finish one of my many project, I thought I'd share with you this great little vest that Mary Ann completed. The pattern came from Vogue's Knit.1, Summer 2005. She made it in a heavy worsted cotten by Filatura di Crosa called Porto Cervo, which, I will tell you, is a big departure for Mary Ann. You see, she comes from a long line of Acrylic knitters. Her mother, Ann, is knitting strong at the age of 85 and has been known to turn a Red Heart Super Saver into an afghan extraordinaire.
I think its nice to see Acryliphiles finally coming out of the yarn closet, proudly waiving their skeins of Lion Brand Thick and Quick, Plymouth Encore or Bernat's Softee. No longer must they be shamed into wearing the Scarlet "A" on their vests. Mary Ann's vest gets a definate A. Not for Acrylic, but for Adorable.

It is in my personal opinion that you write, without a doubt, the wittiest blog around. Keep it up!
