I'm now into labels.

LabelgifLabelsPencils

I know you guys just never get tired of tracking the progress of the Gettin' Knit Together Kit.

Now the Kit includes two more new items: three satin woven cloth labels to sew into sweaters and the cutest white and black sheep pencils.  Gee, I hope this thing takes off, or we'll be having lots of blog contests with label and pencil prizes!

Last week on Stephanie Pearl MacPhee's Yarn Harlot website, she gave the kit a generous feature spot - and two thumbs up. With all her books and book tours and raising teens and knitting, she's really quite an amazing person. (and today's her birthday). Her blog gets like 200 comments a day!!

Ok - so, here's today's challenge - since my ability to be interesting enough to generate  comments is definitely in question,  say hello, and I'll drop some labels in the mail to you. Nothing like a little bribery, right?

ok, I'll bite :) I'm VERY jealous of your yarn crawl, btw!

Mm, bribery. ;)

(I saw when YH pictured your kit on her blog, very cool!)

I too found you through the Yarn Harlot when she featured your fantastic kit.

Coming out of lurkdom to comment but I wouldn't expect you to send labels. I L.O.V.E. your blog and read it always ...not sure how I linked up but Ilove it and I love the "kit"!

I forgot to tell you I was at the LYS in Westport and they had your kits right there on the counter by the register looking like a lovely rainbow of organization! You couldn't ask for better positioning in the store. We chatted about how wonderful they are. Labels are a great idea!

Yeah for the shout out on the Yarn Harolot site! :) The new labels are too cute! :)

Delurking here at the promise of a bribe. The whole kit's progression has been a joy to watch. I saw them here before Yarn Harlot, but was so proud of you when she talked them up!

I am a big fan of your blog and of Stephanie's! So if you write a book I'll read it too! I have read all of Stephanie's. I love how you have such great colour pictures. I too am jealous of your yarn crawl!

Knit on Dudette!

Kathy

I'll delurk for once - I found out about you through the Harlot, too, and I've got you in my Bloglines ever since. You have a fun blog, and you make some really beautiful things. Thanks for sharing them!
Don't worry about the bribe. :)

Nothing like a bribe to get what you want! Didn't we always swear that we wouldn't bribe our kids and found that we couldn't parent without a little bribe every now and then. Love the labels and the pencils are too cute! What do we have to do to win a pencil?

I think your so creative and talented, there is no way you should lack for comments!!!

I think I posted a comment here once before so I'm not a complete lurker, but I'm here reading every day. If I'd known you were wanting comments, I'd comment! And will do so more often now. I love your blog.

Do NOT send me any labels though - I have set up an incentive scheme to lose weight and one or more of your goodies is my reward for hitting my first goal!! So keep me honest. (when I get to my final goal I'm getting one of those Alice Starmore kits from her website and expect it to keep me busy for the rest of my life ... )

I am soooo jealous of your yarn crawl. Someday, when Mama Cat's kitten is all growed up, I may get to do something like that ... in the meantime, it's fun to read about it here.

I've been a frequent reader for a long time now; I've got you on my bloglines so I always catch your new posts.

Great idea with the labels :-) Makes a give extra special.

The labels are a nice touch for your kit.

Guess I'll come out of lurkdome, admitting I am a freebie Ho! Love stalking your blog, and really enjoy the photos you find for your posts! The kits are a great idea...necessity is the mother of invention, eh? Happy Knitting!

i am new to this whole blog thing but am loving it. I found this blog through Yarn Harlots blog which I found only last week. I have been a blog maniac since...reading through archive after archive! Loving it!!!! Am definately a beginner to the knit world. I started with the book "Stitch 'n Bitch, the knitter's handbook" Have made simple items, liked ribbed scarves and a couple of lovely baby blankets (wish I had remembered to take photos of them), oh yeah and several attempts at hats, with varying degrees of success. I am trying to learn the gauge lesson..tee hee. Anyway looking forward to future postings! cheers

Thanks! I can be bought! I love your labels - thanks a bunch. I'm fairly new to your site and like it! Lisa

Who says you're not interesting? I check out your blog every day. It's fun to see what you're coming up with next.

oooh! me too me too!!!

Hey, I enjoy your blog. I'm a beginner and loving this hobby!

I've been reading for quite a while & have commented before.!! :)

I'm ordering tomorrow since I can't make up my mind which color I want! Love the idea of everything together!

Shameless..you are going to go broke! Was it the Harlot? or your offer? Only the shadow knows. See you Saturday...

I just got your kit in the mail a few days ago & will be posting about it either today or tomorrow (I've been drastically busy doing the whole home improvement thing).

LOVE THE KIT!

I love the labels and will order one of your kits next payday!
