Two Thumbs Up!
I am so grateful for all the wonderful encouragement I received about continuing my blog. I must be a Blogneanderthal because I didn't know anything about Bloglines - which is a service that tells you when your favorite blogs put up new posts. (hello, 21st century!) The consensus was to post whenever the muse is within, and as long as I have projects to share that's what I am going to do. After giving it a lot of thought and getting your comments, I've come to the conclusion that this blog does three things for me. It is a great motivator for getting projects finished. It gives me a forum for getting feedback and ideas, and it keeps me connected to an amazing community of creative individuals. So, let's knit on.
You'll see in the coming posts, I've developed a gluttony for gloves. My first pair was a simple 
fingerless in a Debbie Bliss Alpaca Silk, using a Magic Loop. I guess once you knit a sock, a glove is a breeze. These took two sittings of two hours each. That's all I needed to be hooked on hands!
So, what would come next?? Multi-colored fingerless gloves with attached mitten-cover tops, of course!!

Yay! Good decision - now I can continue to keep you on my Favorites list and look forward to ckng in! It's a motivator for me as well: you're finishing projects dammit - so I will too!

Yeah, I know they're gloves, but glove madness doesn't have the same ring. :p
You didn't know about Bloglines? Oh, honey, I'm sorry. There are 73 people lurking along with you on the feed that I'm on for this blog. Plus the others who are using different feeds.
I think you need to drop kick/start the lurkers into commenting. Ya know, when you're not busy knitting gloves. ;^)

I'm new to your blog and I just recently discovered the geniusness of bloglines myself! We're not holding you to post everyday but every once in a while is nice. I also had to comment on how cool your multi-colored fingerless mitts with cover tops are! :)Can't wait to hear more about them.

Those are fabulous mittens and you must continue to blog. I admit, I silently read your carols over December with varying emotions (groaning and singing the darn things were two of them). But blog about and at your own pace.

I'm glad you decided to continue blogging and that you found out about Bloglines.
And I love what you've been knitting! You certainly have my respect for knitting the fingerless gloves with mitten-cover tops! I would never have enough gumption to knit a pair.
