Don't hold my memorial just yet

Twain said, "Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated." And he'd be proud to know that its' probably the most quoted line used by bloggers who, after diligently sticking to, and being passionate about their blog, one day wake up to a life "before they ever had a blog. I don't know how it happened. But I just stopped. Work got crazy. Beautiful One (at college) and Beautiful Too needed mom, ALOT. I was ending a five year relationship with my guy. I wasn't getting enough time to knit and therefore, had little to say about it. And the Gettin' Knit Together Product had really stalled and and i was feeling a little silly about the whole "college-try" of it.

But being born under the LEO sun, I feel like I'm coming back into season now - and thought maybe I give it a try again.

Happily, and straight out of the blue the GKT KIT was reviewed in the JULY 2007 Creative Knitting Magazine. If you visit their site at www.creativeknittingmagazine.com/  you can actually flip/click through the pages of the mag and see it on the bottom left of page six. I'm not actively promoting the product much any more, but its still fun to see it in print. And the company is Japan might still come through. (Stranger things....)

I've finally gotten back to the sticks so I hope to post some of my progress soon. I have other fun news - but I'll keep this short - since  there's a good chance you all went away and won't come back. I don't know if you're out there. Give a holla! I'd love to "rejoin our seams".

Thank goodness for Bloglines--I'm still here! And I saw the blurb in Creative Knitting--congrats!

So glad to see you back. I forget how I first got to your blog as it has been that long. I've enjoyed hearing about your family, area of the country, seeing you bags become popular, etc. Sure hope to read more of your writting.
Enjoy life.

Good to see you!! And life really can sidetrack you :). Congrats on the review, too! I would love to see my pins on the page of a magazine someday, but I know how you feel about things stalling. I hope things will be moving along for you now.

Good to see you back!

There you are!

I've been wondering and worrying about you. I hope things keep getting better, sweetie. *hugs*

Glad to see you back!

Welcome back! Life can sure get busy sometimes, can't it? And I understand how your focus for great ideas can wax and wane, too. Sometimes, you just have to let go of them and see what happens on its own - which you seem to be successfully doing! :)

Yup. We're still here!

Congratulations on the product review in Creative Knitting! I'm sorry that life's been a bit crazy for you. Hopefully it will calm down some.

Welcome back. Looks like lots of us haven't given up on you! Sounds like like has been crazy. I always find that a little knitting helps me through it all. Even if I don't accomplish much, it feels good to have the meditative repeition of it. I hope you have good news about he product soon.

Happy to see you back!!!!!

I thought I'd be the only one looking....

Glad you are still here! Cool things about the kit! Yeah.

Glad to have you back! Both my sister and I were worried about your blog silence...so glad to have you back online.

I've been worried about you. It's great to see you back again!!!!

The beauty of bloglines is that people don't disappear - they just hibernate. Welcome back!

Hi Sweetie...Welcome back...you were missed. Looking forward to seeing life again thru your eyes.

Hey! Welcome back to blogging. Hope to hear more from you soon!

I've been subscribing to Yarn Market News and read an article you wrote there...saw you had a blog and decided to visit. You have a tremendous talent because not everyone can think of what to name their store. I also saw the blurb in Creative knitting (to which I subscribe) and decided to check things out again... Good luck in the future and I love the 3 little bags pattern on your site... I'm going to make a really big knitting bag with your pattern... Thanks for being there.
