A Close Knit Group

My Saturdays always start off well when they begin with a gathering of my knitting pals. We usually meet over Jennifer's (www.majorknitter.com) but instead today every one came over to mi casa. Now, in the past, everyone would bring lots of projects, and donuts and bagels - but we're all trying to eat healthier so today we had cheese and almonds, and this really incredible bacon/cheddar/onion souffle which I concocted and it was INCREDIBLE. Lindsay's a Knotty Girl
This group is outrageously creative and we always spend the first hour with Show and Tell. I have so many things to share, but I'll zero in on Lindsay's great cabled purse. She learned how to make it by taking a class up at Knotty Girl (www.knottygirlknits.com) in Fairfield, CT. I have vowed not to start it until I finish one of my 8 WIPS.
After three hours of knitting and yacking - if that wasn't enough, Jen and I headed off to a knitting store. But that's tomorrow's story.
